Piano Course

Julian Jacobson

A course for the good amateur pianist and piano student that will explore problems of interpretation and technique over a wide range of keyboard repertoire. It will also help students face the specific demands, imaginative and practical, that different individual performance styles require.

At the end of the week the course will give a concert, the selection of students to take part in this event will be at the sole discretion of the course director

Repertoire: Students are invited to bring to the class three or four pieces of their own choice, one of which should have been written in the last fifty years (i.e. since 1966). Ample time will be allotted for each work to be heard and discussed.
