Travelling by Road to Sherborne
From the North East and London
Once you reach the M25 around London, arim for the M3 travelling south. At junction 8 of the M3 take the A303 and continue to the Wincanton junction. Take the B3145 to Sherborne. (Journey time in normal motoring conditions is 2 hours from the M25/M3 junction).
From the Midlands and South Wales Take the A36 from Bristol to Shepton Mallet then the A371 to Castle Cary and Wincanton. Take the B3145 to Sherborne.
From Southampton / Portsmouth
Take the A36 to Salisbury and follow directions to the A303. Then proceed as from London.
From the West Country
Take the M5 to Taunton (exit 25), then the A358 to the A303 and the A3088 to Yeovil. From Yeovil take the A30 to Sherborne.
